Corel has a history of not changing their product very much from one
version to the next, so if you're happy with 10, you're likely to be
happy with 12.

FS has listed support for WordPerfect 12 as one of the enhancements for
jfw 6, so it should work reasonably well.

When it comes to submission to your publisher, well, you'll need to
check with them about what formats they intend to support in the future.
I can tell you that Word's tracked changes feature is really great for
allowing collaborative work on a document (such as changes by a copy
editor) as you can easily see what changes someone proposed, and decide
to accept or reject each one individually.=20
