Hello. I meant control up arrow. Just mistyped. I know how to go to the
beginnings of areas. What I want is not to have to stop Jaws from taking off
as you describe, see? That's what I am asking.
Thanks.

I'm working on jaws 7 not 8 but when I want to get to the top of a paragraph
I hit control up arrow. Jaws starts reading the entire paragraph but I hit
control right away and the speech stops. When I want to go to the beginning
of a line I hit the home key and jaws will start reading that line if I
quickly press the down arrow and then the up arrow. Judith
