Hi Dorothy,

Is is possible that, with W7, email with tables contribute to this problem?

The problem does not always come up, only on a few email messages.

cy that is an old problem, and if you find a way of dealing with it do let
me know, in older versions of Jaws I used to think it was due to Jaws not
liking working in black settings,I mean white text and black background/.
Jaws would never give up but read everything on the page and then struggle
to plod on through the entire computer, I was told that Jaws saw all white
text on a black background as highlighted or selected text and
thereforedidn't treat it normaly, so I bought Lunar to work in inverse mode
whilst jaws could work wiwithout a lot of fiddling with settings, however I
have just had my laptop cleaned off completely and not put Lunar back on,and
it is no difference Once jfw Gets the bit between its teeth you may as well
give up, I suppose you tried the 3 fingured salute? and end task, nothing
works, that is my story ,mind you ,pressing the off button does but then my
desktop tells me off,and wants to workin safe mode because it does not like
my pushing it off.experienc has taught me to throw in the towel and start
again dorothye

Subject: JAWS continuing to talk

Hi All,

With JAWS 11, W7 64 bit, Outlook 2007 good old JAWS will, upon occasion,
continue to talk when reading an email regardless of attempts to shut it up.

Nothing I do seems to cause JAWS to stop until it has exhausted the entire
email. Next thing which usually happens is that JAWS goes away and I need to
fire it back up again.

Anyone else have these problems?

Cy, The Anasazi
