That's odd. I started getting reminders to upgrade to 8.5 a week or so ago.
The scans don't run constantly, but it does seem to take hem hours to
finish. During those hours, JAWS is really sluggish and quirky.
But I fixed something in the settings, so we'll see if that helps.
