It is set in Boot:Tasks.!Boot - the first command line:

      WimpSlot -next 640K

You could edit that! Otherwise it'll revert every time you re-boot unless
you add another command file later in the sequence.

I seem to remember that's what it was on early PCs, and it was ridiculously
large for economical RISC OS programs at the time.

Could it be 360K disks and 1 MB memory? That seems to work number-wise.
