Hey Jim, did you find this reference yet?  

 

I see the memory usage is slowly inching its way back up again, and the
SQL server service is starting to take up more CPU cycles...

 

Possibly an MSDE upgrade is in order?

Caching grabs 25% of physical available RAM by default.

This is changeable in teh caching control UI.

THere is a known problem with MSDE sucking all the available process /
RAM from teh machine.

I'll see if I can find the reference.
