[Ilugc] reiserfs RHEL

Hi,
This is the kind of evaluation errors that cost people their jobs. If
you knew you had a requirement for reiserfs, whatever on earth made
you choose a distribution (paying money for support) that didn't have
reiserfs support?
Well the requirement for reiserfs was known after change of plan; but by then
we got RHCE and installed. I would like to tell u that reiserfs support was an
optional feature required which we planned to implement on /home recently. that
was the reason on earth which made me to choose it:)
Lastly, "supposed to be good at performance" is another way people
lose their jobs by doing scratchy product evaluation. Have you tested
it the performance yourself? Does it play nicely with all the other
device drivers you need?
yes, I had already worked with reiserfs version 3 (ofcourse i didnnot recompile
kernel) and the performance is quite good for small files as against ext3.
