[Ilugc] Problems with Kernel 2.6.16

Hi Shakthi,
When i try "CTRL + ALT + F1" it doesn't get into the console. It hangs
there and the only option i have is to restart.
Test 2: How to do that ?!
( Also, I took the dmesg of current 2.6.14 kernel , how to do the same
with 2.6.16 as i am not able to get atleast the console?)
