[Ilugc] Problems with Kernel 2.6.16

Test 2: How to do that ?!
( Also, I took the dmesg of current 2.6.14 kernel , how to do the same
with 2.6.16 as i am not able to get atleast the console?)
append 3 to kernel options in the boot loader screen... should usually
not go to X but give you a login prompt... also, do see your syslog...
hopefully much of what went wrong (including your dmesg output) in
your previous session in 2.6.16 should be there...
