read it carefully - the point is there are a huge number of resellers
of stuff from rackspace and such where everything is gui and dumbed
down. As a rule, the resellers have little or no power to change
anything. And many of these readymade systems *do* silly things like
this. I am talking here of users at the bottom of the food chain.
