They are probably doing it to prevent a mistake on your part
into turning your MTA into an open relay, since that would get
the whole ISP into some of the DNSBL lists, and thus impact all their
customers.
1.if there is a chance that the ip i use gets blacklisted for the
next guy using it (Actually it wouldn't matter , if it gets
blacklisted for running mail server on dynamic ip , then he wont be
able to run a mail server as long as he has that ip , so it really
only stops him from doing what made the ip get blacklisted at the
first place....... but i just want to know.)
What you might end up doing is getting your ISP blacklisted,
which would mean that no one would read your mail :)
Secondly, all kinds of DNSBL's already blacklist mails coming
from dynamic addresses, so your mail has fewer chances of
making it through anyway.
2.If there is anything ethically wrong in doing so ?
Whose ethos? I think it is unwise, since the downside can
impact everyone using your ISP, but questions of ethics are tied into
belief systems, and your belief system is unlikely to resemble mine.
