hi andy,
you're right, 10 gb is not that big a deal. that wasn't the reason i posed
the question. in fact i said i didn't think i would need it. but simply
wanted to know as the braille user to this side of the unit why there was
such a lag with the exception of the upgrade to the units since they have
both been out.
and tha't not an unfair question!

dunno, although I thought that the brailleplus was created by APH? Sorry for
that message--it was quite early in the morning and I can sometimes be a
little grumpy in the mornings... I wasn't trying to offend anyone. And
yes, I love braille too, and if I didn't know it, lets just say it'd be
chaos. Maybe APH is at work on trying to get 40 gigs into the units right
now. But honestly 10 gigs isn't that much of a big deal for me--might be
for othehs--in that case just get a usb flashdrive. Not as portable, I
know, but still excellent.
