He apparently threw it like a spear.

So, a good guy with gun ended it, sort of?

The object was reportedly an empty gun the assassin dropped.

You might be the only one of us that saw the actual
livestream. It's been taken down on every social media
platform. The broken window was not return fire. Somebody
threw an object at the guy's car and broke the window,
essentially scaring him away and ending the carnage.

Good point, I missed that.

Bob was asking if NZ strictly controls handguns? I
don't think so, certainly not like AU.

No handguns as far as I saw.

Interesting, does that mean him
being an Aussie would allow him to purchase
one in the Kiwi nation? Or would he have to
have someone else buy it for him (what we
would call a straw purchase)?

EBRS are, for the moment, legal in NZ
with a firearms license and not even

shoots the monthly matches.

Just the
title itself is cringe worthy. He
started the assault with a semi-auto
shotgun and dumped it when it went dry
(or malfunctioned).
Seems that he
may have had airsoft quality gear on
the first AR (this is my opinion). Why
you ask? Well, he lost the mounted
flashlight at some point and swapped
ARs later. I am assuming the RDS was
not working anymore. The first one had
a lot of rounds on it, so that is
another possibility.
Had a pump
shotgun in the vehicle where he tried
to shoot out the windshield. I believe
this is because he initially intended
to mow people down in an alley whilst
shooting. Instead, he stopped 180
degrees to an ally & shot out the
passenger window at people.
The gun
either malfunctioned or ran out of
shells, but as he is putting it down,
you hear a pop that could have been
someone shooting back (again, my own
assessment). He then drives off and
there is not much more to the video.
He still had at least 2 long guns next
to him when he drove off, so this is
where I get my ‘someone shot back’
assumption.
It is not
impossible to get anything you want
anywhere you are. As long as you have
the money & connections (I would
assume dark web marketplaces in this
fucking asshole’s case), there aren’t
many limits. This guy was an 8chan
idiot, which leads me to assume he
knew how to work the dark web or at
least had resources at his fingertips.
This guy was,
in no way, an inexperienced shooter.
He know how to clear
jams/malfunctions, aim, reload and
handle his weapons. He either had
training or a shitload of practice.
Fucking
disgusting, all of it.
