Yeah, the BSD networking stack is well known for it's stability...
even M$ "stole" parts from it for theirs... (now if only they could copy-paste 
without adding bugs :^) )
Nathan, I hope you are not for net_server just because BONE wasn't for PPC ? :D
In any case it should be portable.
