BTW, i would like to see some improvements in the Haiku font rendering engine,
somehow the fonts in my terminal looks strange. Sometimes if i have too much
free time i browse the Arch rice threads, and the fonts looks crisp, thin and
beautiful. And then i start my terminal and.. yes, you know it well.

It would be interesting and useful to test common fonts, not just Haiku
defaults. This includes the "Liberation" fonts that will probably be
used by many webpages if you install them.
Testing VL-Gothic, which is the default for Japanese, and wqh microhei,
the default for Chinese, would be nice.
I would be interested in seeing if there is some improvements with fonts
which are designed to *not* use hinting, such as Proggy
(http://upperbounds.net/) or Atari Small.
