Awesome! Good to know the wikis were wrong. That's going t make some future
projects way easier.

Sometimes strait body filler is a pain to get into the cloth really well.
I'll usually thin it with a bit of strait polyester resin. You still use
the same amount of cream hardener.

I have part of a tin left from ironman, if you want to use some. I'll
probably be down Wednesday or Thursday.

The glass cloth I have cut well at speed 50 power 50.  I believe it is 6
oz cloth.



If you haven’t bought any yet,, there’s no need to buy a yard pack just to
get a small piece. I’ll leave a piece on your bin.

I am trying to make a thermal insulator for a Diamond Hotend for a 3D
printer (http://reprap.org/wiki/Diamond_Hotend). The one that I got is an
Ebay special recommended by JetGuy. It does not come with this thermal
barrier as shown from the real version from Reprap.me <http://reprap.me/>
(http://www.reprap.me/diamond-hotend.html). After reading the reprap
wiki, it states that the thermal barrier is created by laser cutting a fire
blanket which looks to be fiberglass. I have the dxf file from the diamond
reprap wiki.



Not sure if we have crossed this bridge before so I wanted to start a
discussion before proceeding. Thoughts?
