Ryan,
I have a bunch of fiberglass cloth I bought for K-9, I'll try cutting it this
evening.

All,
I want to laser cut what is essentially fiberglass cloth (Bondo;

I am trying to make a thermal insulator for a Diamond Hotend for a 3D printer
(http://reprap.org/wiki/Diamond_Hotend). The one that I got is an Ebay
special recommended by JetGuy. It does not come with this thermal barrier as
shown from the real version from Reprap.me
(http://www.reprap.me/diamond-hotend.html). After reading the reprap wiki, it
states that the thermal barrier is created by laser cutting a fire blanket
which looks to be fiberglass. I have the dxf file from the diamond reprap
wiki.
Not sure if we have crossed this bridge before so I wanted to start a
discussion before proceeding. Thoughts?
