As stated earlier, I leave my dog's half check on all the time. Our half checks do up and undo via a quick release clip, as do the play collars, so we don't have to put it over their heads. I just always want my dogs to be recognised as belonging to someone so would never dream of leaving their collars off. I don't suppose it matters much which one you have on, as long as it is something.
