Can any system do that without getting an initial trajectory?  That is, I
was thinking that GPS usually only relayed the present position, and the
software, be it either in the GPS itself or in whichever PDA you're using,
had to extrapolate your trajectory from several readings ... Or, at least,
two or three readings.
