I think the issue is larger than just something that plugin developers
have to deal with. Different hosts may (inadvertantly or intenionally)
use different rounding schemes. Even simply the use of different
compilers may cause this. I don't see a way that a plugin developer
could adequately compensate for this.

Put plugin developers (probably more than anyone else) are used to dealing with these issues.
