Maybe we could remind what for will be a parameters...
(i guess we are talking about public parameters , that can be handle by the
host)
- Will The host be able to let the user edit this parameter with something
else than the plug-in user interface. (so what the host need in term of
information to do that in a good way) !?
- Will the host use that kind of parameter to make automation sequencing !?
- Will the host use that to propose an alternate user interface or a grouped
used interface with different parameters of different plug-in (e.g. a button
to control the bypass of the reverb aux 1, reverb aux 2 and chorus aux 3....
or a knob to set the gain of the EQ track 1,3, and compressor on track
4,5... in absolute mode or relative mode ) !?.

Well , can we define the target of this parameter before defining parameters
?
