Dear Jack,

The hardest tale to see through is one that has a thread of truth in it. For example, imagine the Twin Towers collapse without the aeroplanes flying into them. It then would be obvious to a blind man what had happened, right? So, you make sure that there is something inserted that cannot be denied, such that you can always point to this truth to 'justify' your lies.

In exactly the same way, the black book without strands of truth would be glaringly obvious as the demonic, occult tool that it is.

Hence, when I try to extract the strands of truth, I am not "cherry-picking" the black book.

Your daily reading is typical of church organizations that people such as yourself chose to 'belong' to. The Jehovah's Witnesses had exactly the same type of daily devotional brain washing. The Devil is regularly thrown in to make the flock tow the party line.

I have told you this before, but I will tell you in all sincerity again, "go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice'." (1st canonical gospel, 9:13a, NIV.)

Regards,

Neville.

Subject: [geocentrism] A tool of Satan

Dear Neville,
My normal practice each morning is to read a chapter from the Bible and then read the appropriate page from my daily devotional book. As I was reading the Bible my mind kept wandering to your latest pronouncements about what you believe. My mind wasn't on what I was reading but rather was thinking that you seem to be becoming a very efficient tool of Satan. You may consider what I am about to say as a mere coincidence, and it may well be, but its significance cannot be lost. I was most surprised when I saw that the title of today's subject was 'Resisting the Devil'. I have reproduced it below.

Resisting the Devil
Mar. 12, 2008

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." (1 Peter 5:8, 9)

The devil is far more powerful and intelligent (as well as subtle and seductive in his malignant purposes) than any combination of human enemies we could ever face, and we would be utterly unable to defeat him with our own human resources. Yet God’s Word makes it plain that we are neither to yield to him nor flee from him. Instead, the admonition is: "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

But how can we resist such a mighty foe? As in our text, we must constantly maintain sobriety and vigilance against his enticements, and be careful to remain "steadfast in the faith." Otherwise, the pseudo-intellectualism and social peer pressure to which we are subjected daily could quickly persuade us to compromise the faith, or even to depart from the faith.

We are commanded not to yield and not to compromise. Instead we must "put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." We have "the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the |wicked one|," and also "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Ephesians 6:11, 16, 17).

This mighty sword with which we can make Satan flee from us, is literally "the saying of God"--that is, an appropriate individual word from the complete Word of God. This was the instrument with which the Lord Jesus Himself resisted the devil, parrying each temptation with an incisive thrust of Scripture. The result then--as it will be now with us also--was that the devil "departed from him for a season" (Luke 4:13).

It has been pointed out to you by myself, Philip, Allen and others that your dismissal of the Bible as a 'book of astrology' is incompatible with you 'cherry picking' scripture from it. You clearly take scripture out of context in exactly the same way that Satan did with Jesus in the wilderness. Jesus very skilfully corrected Satan and seeing him off! I therefore have no hesitation in comparing you with those identified in the above reading. I do not wish to see you used in this way, particularly because of your geocentric stance, but the writing is on the wall and you have been warned.

Jack
