This is a political tag, not economical) what I can tell is the migration of the jobs from USA to other places is like our friend told above: the way capitalism works. If you can have a cheaper product with the same quality, it's the way to go. I don't think there's anything USA can do to avoid that. I think it's a natural evolution of the things as it aways has been since the man started to dwell around this blue mud ball ;) Here in Brazil, we don't have much game developpment but the ones dedicated to our own reality like educational ones. Mostly because it's a very small market. I'm not aware of any company around here doing contract game developmment but it's possible. I know many cassino-type games used in Europe are created here.
