But that would result in poorly and badly formatted print documents just to
create the single and double returns. By the time you format a print
document with single and double line breaks, you may as well just rethink
your methodology and do it with the correct tools in the first place. No
need to reinvent the wheel, guys.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could tell the Word importer that one paragraph
marker is a line break, and two paragraph markers constitute a paragraph?
That would clear up a major frustration for lots of us.
Regarding your paragraph style problem, when you create your template,
place the [svprg1:1] code (you don't actually need the last parameter)
inside the Initial_style. This will cause paragraphs to be handled the
way you want them in any document you create using your template.
