Hi Steve,

Your suggestion is OK in principal, but in fact Word has a
proper command for a New Line, as opposed to a New
Paragraph.

It is Shift + Enter.

George.

Ann,

Wouldn't it be nice if you could tell the Word importer that
one paragraph
marker is a line break, and two paragraph markers constitute
a paragraph?
That would clear up a major frustration for lots of us.

Regarding your paragraph style problem, when you create your
template, place
the [svprg1:1] code (you don't actually need the last
parameter) inside the
Initial_style. This will cause paragraphs to be handled the
way you want
them in any document you create using your template.
