Hi Fina,

Scientific Notebook is indeed a separate program from DBT.  Moreover, is
is highly unfriendly as far as screen readers are concerned.  At best,
about all a viusually impaired user can do, is to import the files S/N
produces into DBT, and then translate.

The Windows installation of Scientific Notebook itself is fairly
straightforward, although it is usually essential that the software is
properly registered.  I'm not sure what support is provided in the
States, but the following are MacKichan's details.
