If you want to play some more with a DTP package you could try Scribus

Of PagePlus starter edition is free

You probably stand a better chance with either of these.

Scribus looks interesting, I'll have a looksee later.
I have the full paid for, singing and dancing PagePlus 9 installed on my
other computer, unfortunately it cannot Save/Export in anything useful
like Word/Doc otherwise I'd be playing with that.
Dunno much about Scribus (Just a little) but if it can't save/export to
Word/Doc for them, then I might just as well stick with OvPro.
I have to be able to get the file out in a form the others can use, and in
most cases that's unfortunately MS Word.
