The PostScript Type-1 font you sometimes find alongside RISC OS fonts is in AFM/PFA format. Windows needs PFM/PFB format. So, you need to be able to convert from AFM to PFM and from PFA to PFB. Or, more simply, you need a font editor that can import AFM/PFA fonts (or maybe even RISC OS outline fonts). Any Windows font editor should be able to save PFM/PFB fonts for use with Windows, so that part is easy. There was a newsgroup thread about this titled "RiscOS to Windoze font conversion - help!" in comp.sys.acorn.apps in March.
