So vague.
We go to church on Ash Wednesday and get marked with ash on our foreheads.
The mark is a symbol of many things, but mostly it reminds us of our mortality.
Lent is the season where we "give up" or "take up" things, and today is the
start of that season.
It's not even the aspect of giving something up that's important, it's what you
do with that saved time or money that is.
