Got my Weaver class to level 20 last night so now I can attach materia to
cloth items. Now I just need suitable materia and carbonized items.

Crafting is good in this game because of how it rewards you, but I suspect
farming and botting will skew the economy away from crafting (seems like it
has already).

Basically you want to get as many higher level items as possible to boost
your EXP. Higher EXP means access to better equipment that buff crafting,
and you can convert these items to materia which also buff crafting or sell
them afterwards. So the reward is quite good (as long as you can actually
wear/use the items you are crafting). The most I've sold an item for was
285 after tax, but it was a kinda crappy item and I could have gotten more
for it if I wanted.

Anyway, from what I gathered this seems to be the approach that requires
the least amount of concentration:
- Macro a craft process so that all your crafting points go towards
increasing quality
- Add a master's mend after 3 turns
- Use the remain turns to synth the item

Once you get enough experience to craft items that buff crafting, synth
these and wear them to make crafting easier. After you get enough CP
(through buffs) adjust the macro with "steady hand" so that you get fewer
failures. Try to ensure that you always use all your CP on one item. Eat
CP buffing food if you need to, otherwise eat food that buffs Control to
get better quality increases. After a while you start getting lots of
low-level high quality items. For HQ high level items, you can't really
macro it. You need to take not of the condition of your item before you
improve the quality, and that changes randomly per step.
