A lot of the time i see people say ff+3 crushed their move is untrue. It's just your move came out slower. Even if your move is 13frames (df1) Lei maybe doing ff+3 10frames faster than you and boom...you fly. frames of a move play a big part of the game but it's not everything. When it's not on block stuff. The speed of a move varies to who pressed a button first and range. Also doing forward dash into a df1 doesnt mean it's 13frames either. Depending on how far you dashed, that move could easily be 20frame+. Because of the df1 short range you have to do the dash. While Lei's ff+3 is already part of a ff notation and has a built in dash.
