Balrog is probably the easiest character. Simple BNB combos, easy combo
into ultra, and doesn't rely on fancy knockdown setups.

Yun's offense stems from his dive kicks, his lunge punch, and to a lesser
extent his shoulder (beats fireballs).

A reversal is when you perform a special move coming out hit/blockstun, on
wakeup, out of a reset, or a out of dizzy. Before you fully recover, the
game gives you a special buffer during which you can input a move and it
will be performed immediately on recovery. In SFIV, the reversal window is
4 or 5 frames depending on the situation, which is very high.

MP+MK is the command for a focus attack, or an EX focus attack. An EX
focus attack is when you cancel a regular or special move into a focus
attack. A focus attack dash cancel the same as the former, instead of
releasing the focus attack you dash out.

On wake up your options are:
Block (and prepare to tech a throw)
Backdash (lots of invincibility)
Focus Backdash (press MP+MK, then backdash - this avoid option selects that
beat backdashing)
Jump (avoids throws)
Invincible reversal (beats meaty attacks)
Chars like Dhalsim can teleport away when they're not in the corner)

When you start out, you'll mostly focus on blocking and teching throws,
backdashing and reversals until you get a feel for the game and matchups.
