Hi Jeff,
Yes, I just found a picture of 1273 with the different type of heater than what
I was meaning (like that carried on the G1 and G2)
As for the drawings, If I could get especially get some good quality outline
drawings, that would be great. If I can find out which would be more saleable,
the G1/G2 or the G5, I could persuade him perhaps to make those, at this stage
it looks like a G5a and perhaps the b without the heater. If this is the way he
goes, I could use the drawings to retro-modify one to a 1 or 2
Cheers

According to Doug Hately, none of the G5's had Elesco Feedwater heaters? Are
there any photos' of them in CP service with them?
Certainly, there are lots of photos of the engines with Elesco heaters. It
all depends on the type of the Elesco heater youâre talking about. The
G5dâs had Elesco 3 coil type heaters rather than the K series heaters
normally found on CPR engines.
Could I obtain copies of the drawings of the G1 and G2 locos please?
Yeah, no problem, Iâll pull them out and queue them up for scanning.
