One question I forgot to ask, did any of the G5's have the Elesco Feed water
heater, I know a couple (1201) had the Worthington "Coffin" style and 1278 has
an Elesco type but I have not seen a shot of 1278 or any other G5 with and
Elesco in service (was it added at steamtown??) The vast majority seem to have
had no feedwater heater at all. The more I can find out, the more options we
could possibly get.
Thank you the gentleman with all the details, if the popular feeling is for a
G5, it appears possible to convert a G5 to a G1 or G2.
