Model A and T had really lousy cotton braided wires besides the flat copper strips - even only being born in 57 I have still had my share of restorations on older vehicles including T's and A's (ooh restoring T&A, sounds good anyway). Nothing like having to manually adjust spark timing with a lever and hand start the engine - sooo much fun (yeah right) Had plenty of harness rebuild time on SRAM and ALCM missiles as well and replacement of them too plus of course I taught all of that as a technical (not testicle) instructor for 8 yrs as well. No need to duck - I'z can handle it. > -----Original Message----- > From: computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Charles R. > Buchanan > Sent: Saturday, July 16, 2005 4:59 PM > To: computertalkshop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [CTS] Re: Cable Tidy > > > You have to take in account that besides you and Joe, no one else here > was there when you two used these things on the first Model T! > <ducking> :-) > > On Sat, 16 Jul 2005 16:46:58 -0500, "Russ Blakeman" > <rhb57@xxxxxxxxxx> took time to say the following: > > > RB> been using all the things they > RB> mention here for years - none of it is new but the velcro > ties - we just > RB> used either strings or baggie ties prior to the vecro. > > "I've got some bad news for you sunshine, > Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel" > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > --------- > Computer Talk Shop http://www.computertalkshop.com > Un-subscribe/Vacation, http://www.computertalkshop.com/list_options.htm > > List HowTo: http://www.computertalkshop.com/faq.htm > > To join Computer Talk Shop's off topic list, please goto: > http://computertalkshop.com/other_cts_lists.htm > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > --------- > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Computer Talk Shop http://www.computertalkshop.com Un-subscribe/Vacation, http://www.computertalkshop.com/list_options.htm List HowTo: http://www.computertalkshop.com/faq.htm To join Computer Talk Shop's off topic list, please goto: http://computertalkshop.com/other_cts_lists.htm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
