Well, the weather report indicates a slight chance of rain on Monday afternoon.
I'm going to still plan on a hike. This is an easy one as I have to be in San
Andreas for an allergy shot by 3.
12/6: Tuttletown Recreation area at New Melones Lake. Drive to the Boat Ramp
parking lot and meet at 10:00. We will hike from there to the Heron's Point
day use area, if weather is still nice we can take a short loop on the Heron
Point trail, then back to our cars. total only about 3 to 3-1/2 miles. We can
eat lunch at the picnic tables by the boat ramp parking lot so no need to carry
lunch on the hike, just water is enough. Remember your senior pass so you can
enter and park free.
