I'm wondering if you found the correct sourceforge project. There is also
one that started there about that time and never got beyond planning. I
believe that it was called GNU_CAD_CAM.
I can't check it now because the search function as sf seems to be
overloaded. Perhaps they are in one of their update cycles.
