Dear Shannon,

I'm behind on my vampires and curious. How can they be redeemed by love. I thought their condition was permanent and the only way to change them was to kill them with sunlight or stakes through their hearts.

Since I'm speaking up on this topic I'll tell you that I enjoyed Vampire LaStat and Interview With A Vampire by Rice, but she lost me in the third book which was too saturated with evil and had way more gore than I prefer. I liked Barnabas in Dark Shadows. I wanted to see him cured and happy.

Always with love,

Lissi

The only paranormal trilogy by Nora Roberts I've read were her Three Sisters books, which I liked. As for vampires, they don't really float my boat, but I do think a lot of it is the tragic flaw someone mentioned, and the fact that they can be redeemed with the right amount of love. :-)

Natalia, I really would like to know what you think of the Charlaine Harris books. I was offered the chance to review the latest one on the group blog I write for, but turned it down because I haven't read the books.

Actually, I haven't read those. I've read the In The Garden though.

>> Funny you named the subject line that way because the circles
trilogy contains all of what you listed. As for me, my introduction to vampires was The silver kiss by Annette Curtis Klause. Then, I tried to read the Vampire chronicals by ann Rice, but I don't know I just didn't really like it. I loved the twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and the Vampire diaries by L.J. Smith. I also enjoy Annita Blake by Laurell K Hamilton. Today I started the Southern vampire series by Charlaine Harris. It's too soon to tell but they seem pretty good so far.As for wicca, the only things I've read are by Nora Roberts's the Donovan legacy, and of course circles. What can I say I'm a romantic fool.
