Actually when one uses a good quality microphone such as a a k g 414 or, a senhiser the quality is almost broadcast level. I haven't run a frequency responce test on the recorder but I will and get back to you. Maybe you have and I for one would like to here the results.

The olympus only records in wma format, and even when set to the highest recording quality, it only yields mediocre sounding recordings. I too rest my case.
