Hi Phil and list:

Really a bargain? Do you enjoy never knowing what file you're pointing to before you play it, how much of the file has been played or how much is yet to play? How many text, Word or BRF files have you played on that Olympus? No one should buy a book port for it's audio recording capabilities; We all know that it isn't the way to record lectures nor illegally capture live concerts we've attended. How many alarms have you set?

Just some things to think about.

Cheers,
Dave

I bought an Olympus one gig recorder/player. It plays windows media files, audible files, and comes with stereo mikes. Besides that, all functions are spoken in a clear voice. Cost, 260$, a bargain I think. I rest my case.
