While I think this is great news, the folks at APH. have known when the NLS. catalog was to become available to us. It seems they'd have made accessibility to it a priority. I've just arranged to sell my unit and purchased a Victor Reader Stream because I wanted to have access to the NLS. books. It's funny how things turn around. A few years ago I was actively promoting the Book Port because they were in tune with our needs as consumers and their competitor wasn't. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of lana Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 9:09 AM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: FW: [nabs-l] Downloading Digital Talking Booksfrom NLS Are you talking about the current Book Port, Now that's exciting, and yes, I know not to get my hopes up or consider anyone bound to that timeline, or even to the certainty that it will happen. Again, that's really great news! ----- Original Message ----- From: "PAMELA RADER" <PRADER@xxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 8:46 AM Subject: [bookport] Re: FW: [nabs-l] Downloading Digital Talking Booksfrom NLS > We are looking into the possibility of having NLS capability on the Book Port and the Braille + in a month or so.
