I'm curious about the advantages of using Kurzweil to load the books
over the Book Port Transfer program.

I always get the daisy version. However, I open all of the files in
kurzweil
1000, and use that product to load the files in to the book port. If
you are
using the book port transfer software, the best choice may be
different.
