I fixed this by mounting two rubber feet on the battery compartment door. -----Original Message----- .From: "Eric StevenS"<sseric57@xxxxxxxxxxx> .Sent: 12/24/05 12:30:51 AM .To: "bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx"<bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> .Subject: [bookport] Re: Braille notes . .For all the genius in the design of the BookPort, the one glaring flaw to me is the belt clip on the back that makes the unit totally unstable for taking Braille notes. I suppose using it for Braille was an afterthought to the design and hopefully it will be corrected in a new model. . .So you can picture what I mean, the clip is on the upper half of the back of the unit when in the normal position. To use it for taking Braille notes, you turn the BookPort sideways, so that the clip portion then is on the under side of the right half of the unit. Hence, each time you key with your left hand, the BP see-saws back and forth. . .Some people have described affixing rubber feet to the left/bottom half of the backside, which I suppose is a fix. . .Just my two cents, which admittedly doesn't get you much! . .Eric SS .
