There is no need to drop features IF, and I stress IF the Book Port II will 
read NLS books.  We know they're working on getting it, but that isn't certain. 
Let's keep hoping.

  I have just asked about removing features, therefore, someone would want 
features removed if that gave NLS access.  Btw, it might be possible to have an 
application which would let you swap features in and out for all I know.  I was 
hoping for a response from APH.

    According to APh, there is no possibility of the Bookport reading NLS 
    books.  No one would want features removed.  There would have to be a 
    change in the BP's firmware, and that wouldn't be feasible.
