Gary,
You will hear from Pamela who works for APH. She will give you the final word. All development is focused on the new BP 2.
Even if there was room for change I doubt there would be any consensus among the BP owners as to what features to pull out, in order to put others in.
At any tate from whats been said, this NLS project is a long ways off and the current BP is well able to handle the needs of book readers now.
