Have you updated to the latest beta firmware? If not, this card will not work with the Bookport. The 2 gigabyte limit that existed in prior versions of the Bookport firmware has been well documented on this list. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rik James Sent: Monday, February 13, 2006 4:19 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] BP Launcher does not launch! Oh my oh please tell me I did not just do a bad thing! I just bought a SanDisk 4 GB flash memory card to use on my Bookport. When I put it in, Bookport says firmware number and ready like normal. Then it says there are no files. So I hook it up to USB port figuring it will launch and load the software. I think that is how it has worked before. I have about 4 or 5 other cards by now and they have all worked fine. But this one is the biggest size being 4 Gigs. The 2 I have has worked. My battery level is 43 percent. The time setting still works. Can anyone tell me what to do? Am I gonna be sorry I bought the 4 GB? Can you jump start it by putting the software in bookport using Windows Explorer? If so, which file is it? I am not going to do anything that will risk messing up my good time with the Bookport! Thanks. Rik
