[BlindMobileTech] using apps with the I-Phone

I have an I-Phone 6. I've been gradually learning to use it--some by accident. I've discovered a couple of books from National Braille Press on this, and have purchased those. I haven't gone completely through those yet, but I'm interested in downloading the app from NLS to enable reading of digital talking books on my phone. I gather that you have to go to the I-Tunes store for this. Is this something you need to do through a computer, or can you download it directly from your I-Phone? I do know how to read--or listen, but I also believe in taking a short-cut when possible. I'd appreciate any help on this. Kim Lingo
