Phyllis All books on the step 1 validation page are in .zip form. So, you accept them as that, unzip them, and then work with the files that result. So a book labeled as .txt will unzip into a .txt extension file while one labeled as .rtf will be a .rtf file. But what you download from Bookshare are .zip files.
