Well I must say though I love Kurzweil's editing features, I'm sticking to finereader for scanning. I just don't understand this. But following is an example of the cover of Sea Star, (I plan to replace the fair copy in the collection), and this was scanned with Kurzweil, finereader 7, optimized. Before it was optimized, it said the page was blank. Once optimized, this is what I got: ¦ V...1**' .14 I mm Misty is leaving them! h ^Mwr^^wk^oved horse that Paul and Maureen have loved since srSfe was'a tiny filly They IcnowtMisty is leaving |to be the star of a moviei But it's almost too hardlj^fee* jher go. How is it that the scan in Finereader 6 comes out better than using Finereader 7 within Kurzweil? Just doesn't make sense to me. Pam
