Ann, you made me chuckle. one of the poorly written books I did that I mentioned was not a mystery (it might have been more interesting if it had been) but was a a very preachy Christian book. I don't mind proofing Christian-themed novels (I'm Jewish) if they're well-written and the message is somewhat subtle (like the one I did by Grace Livingston Hill, which had an interesting plot and well-drawn characters but this was so blatant; I wondered to myself if Christian readers, being already convinced, would really enjoy it.
